Nestled in the heart of the Blaye region, this 38 hectare organic-certified property is family-operated, with Marie- Hélène Lapouméroulie in the winery and her brother Olivier David in the vineyard. Their blend of Merlot (65%), Malbec (30%) and a touch of Cabernet–Sauvignon offers aromas of ripe blackberries, prunes, vanilla and a toasty edge. The mouthfeel is supple at first and gives way to a rich and dense texture, bolstered by a deep tannin structure. Patience.
